What You’ll Learn
The course covers essential paediatric first aid knowledge and practical emergency response skills, including:
- Assessing emergency situations and responding safely.
- Performing CPR on babies and children.
- Recognising and responding to choking emergencies.
- Managing an unresponsive baby or child.
- Responding to bleeding, wounds and common injuries.
- Recognising and responding to childhood illnesses.
- Managing medical emergencies involving babies and children.
- Understanding when and how to seek additional emergency assistance.
Course Details
Course Duration: 2 days of classroom training or blended learning comprising online study and 1 classroom day.
Qualification: TQUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF).

Certification: Valid for 3 years.
Minimum Age: 16 years.
